On May 4th, students from the third grade co-teach classroom at I-LES were surprised by some very special visitors.
Third graders have been studying all year to become official Junior Forest Rangers. As part of this study, several NH Forest Rangers came to talk about their jobs.
Students learned about archaeology from Sarah Jordan, hiking with backwoods specialist Dylan Alden, Rod Wilson talked about trees and Recreation and Wildlife Leader Marianna Leberman shared information about a trail specialist’s job. This is the third time Mrs. Leberman has come to help with our studies. It was a very interesting and exciting afternoon.
