DEADLINE:     MONTHLY.  Varsity Tutors holds a monthly scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. The scholarship is worth $1,000. Information is available at



NO APPLICATION DEADLINE The Medallion Fund: This scholarship is to assist students who are going into a vocational or technical program that does not lead to a four-year degree. There is no application deadline; you can apply any time during the year.  Applications are available at the NH Charitable Fund web site.


DEADLINE: December 6, 2017. Meredith 250th Anniversary ILHS Youth Ambassador Essay Competition.  This contest is open to all MEREDITH seniors. Prize amount is $500.00. Scholarship packets may be picked up in the Guidance Office.

DEADLINE: January 12, 2018.  Red Sox Foundation Scholarship.  One senior will be chosen from Inter-Lakes High School to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Boston Red Sox Foundation. The recipient will be chosen based on academic performance, financial need and commitment to community service. Applications may be picked up in the Guidance Office.

DEADLINE: January 20, 2018.  Faith, Hope & Love Scholarship. $1,000 scholarship awarded to a senior who demonstrates a commitment to community and school. Applications may be picked up in the Guidance Office or downloaded from the website:

 DEADLINE: March 31, 2018. Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship amount: $2,500. An essay is required. Applicants chosen based on a GPA of 3.0 or higher, leadership and community service.  Applications available in the Guidance Office.
