To study the concept of all-day kindergarten
To study various kindergarten models (all day, half day, ¾ day, other??)
To determine if our communities support all day K
To make recommendations to the school board.
Questions to be addressed:
How can we create a “quality”, developmentally appropriate, kindergarten program?
How do we handle the diverse levels of maturity in our kindergarten population given the time constraints of a half-day program?
