Next Steps - Your Assistance Needed

As a next step in our work to evolve our practices to support more personalized learning pathways for our students, we want to create a Profile of the Inter-Lakes Graduate. The purpose of this Profile is to identify as a community the knowledge and attributes that are valued for our graduates, so that when they earn a diploma from Inter-Lakes High School they are college and/or career ready.

An additional step in our work is to develop an Inter-Lakes School District Purpose Statement for Assessing and Reporting Student Progress. Our goal is to develop the DRAFT Statement this summer and connect with our families and greater community in the fall for additional feedback, prior to finalizing this portion of our work.

Your feedback and thoughts are essential to developing the DRAFTS for the Profile of the Inter-Lakes Graduate and Inter-Lakes School District Purpose Statement for Assessing and Reporting Student Progress.  The survey can be accessed below and may take between ten to fifteen minutes.  If you prefer a paper copy of the survey, please contacts, Marilyn Martell, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, at marilyn.martell@interlakes.org or by calling 279 - 7947.

Please note that the link will remain open through July 9; please return paper copies to the SAU Office prior to July 9.

Questions on the survey can be directed to Mary Moriarty, Superintendent of Schools, at mary.moriarty@interlakes.org or by calling 279 – 7947.  Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts and feedback!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

On Monday, February 13, 2017 we had planned to have an early release day for students in grades K-8.  Conferences were to be held in the afternoon.  Students in grades 9-12 were going to have a full day of school.

We have missed considerable time due to weather so far this school year.  A snowstorm is forecasted for this Sunday into Monday.  This might require us to cancel the day completely or have a two hour delay on Monday.
Based on those circumstances, at this point in time, Monday will be a full day of school for all students in K-12.  There will be no conferences held.  You will be called by a school staff member or teacher to reschedule conferences that were originally scheduled for Monday.

If school is cancelled or delayed on Monday, it will be announced in the normal manner.
