Inter-Lakes is a non-profit organization who have received donations to provide lunch to Inter-Lakes children during the summer.  On the first Monday of each  week, a bag of food will be dropped off for your child at your home.  There is no cost for this program. If you would like to participate in this program, fill in the form at this weblink: GOT LUNCH

Please know that this is not a district sponsored event and the district is not fiscally responsible for any portion of this program.  However, the district does support the GOT LUNCH! Inter-Lakes program and the idea of providing lunch to our students during the summer.

Lego WeDo

legoStudents in grades 2-6 have been enjoying a new program at Inter-Lakes, LEGO WeDo. This program encourages students to problem solve, use creativity and teamwork to construct models with legos and then bring them to life through computer programming. The lessons all have connections to topics the students are learning about in class and they allow students to experience learning with a more first hand approach.

3D snowflfakes Grade 8 students were given a S.T.E.A.M. ( science, technology, engineering, art, math) challenge to create the perfect snowflake. The students completed a series of thermo-dynamic labs demonstrating the effects of different variables on the formation of ice crystals and how the typical six-sided shape of a snowflake forms. A variety of digital  tools ( Processing Code, Snowflake Generator, and  TinkerCad 3-D) were used in order to create their mathematically correct snowflake model.
